At last year’s WNFR, Smith continued to ride, even with the torn ACL, and it caused him some pain. “I braced it, taped it, and tried to carry on,” he said. “It hurt quite bit, and therefore the exploit half (after the ride) isn’t excellent. I will hobble pretty quick, once I’m afraid,” he laughed.

Smith is twenty three years old; he won the well-rounded title at the National highschool Finals Rodeo a record 3 times (2011-2013) and therefore the Gem State highschool Rodeo well-rounded title fourfold.
